Well Hot Import Nights hit London’s Alexandra Palace on the 23rd of April 2005 and this was to be a year like no other. With the help of the guys from PTI Motorsport HIN made its presents felt when it London this year.
North London was brought to a stand still as over 100 modified cars made they way from the Ace Café in Park Royal around the North Circular with the help of a police escort to the main HIN show at Alley Pally, However after leaving The Ace the Rest of the boys and girls from Out Of Body Experience decided to take a detour lol. But we had fun making back to our places in the convoy which was being led by none other than the legend himself the DJ Mr Tim Westwood in his GMC.
The faces of people in cars and walking along the road to se over 100 loud, colourful and beautiful cars being escorted by police was priceless and put smiles on everyone faces be them drivers, passengers or onlookers.iving at the BP garage just outside Kelvedon on the A12 I phoned Tom expecting to be told he was still in bed or something, however to my surprise I was told they were just leaving Marks Tey and would be there in about 5 mins. 'Perfect' I thought.
We could not thank the guys from PTI enough the cruise down there was so well organised and in some peoples eyes the highlight of the day. Also the Police without who help would not have made the whole experience what it was.th the boys arriving just in time for me to finish my cup of coffee we made our way onto the A12 and set off proper.
Outside the main show you were greeted with the top 30 cars from the cruise. Once inside the fun continued with the guys from the Gumball 3000 bringing down one of the Zondas entered in this years rally kicking off from London on the 14th of May.xt meeting point was the A12/M25 junction, again, on time ... things were going well.
The music was none stop for the second you walked into the hall with at lease 3 / 4 djs playing, each with a style to suit everyone. As usual HIN being HIN there were some of the hottest cars from around the country and the world on show from everything from hot euro hatchbacks to yank muscle machines to crazy jap road racers and who could forgot the models who were out in force flyering like crazy.
After a All in all a good day out but wasn’t as crowded as some other shows.
