JAE (Jap Show) 2004 @ Billing Aquadrome Northampton
We set off for JAE about 8.30 am and made our way up to billing, the weather wasn’t all that which was a shame but we still went anyway ,this advent was on all weekend, but we just went up on the Sunday.
On the motorway we passed allsorts of jap cars on there way to billing ...
When we got there it was heaving, covering almost 3 fields full of jap cars tents and trade stands.
On entering the event, we had to make our way in and out of all the club stands to try and find the stand that Rick was on ... passing all of them was a good chance to have a look about , there was plenty of skylines which you can see in the photos opposite, also plenty of 300zx’s Honda civics, mr2’s , scoobys, fto’s,gto’s,Rx7’s and a few evo’s aswell ..
Not long after getting there the rain came down and down, which was a shame so most people made a run for there cars or the trade stands, which was good for them as they made a few sales, when the rain died off it was time to have a look about and take a few snaps that you can see opposite.
The let down was the waiting about for food when u got hungry so we just made do with a ice cream till we stopped at the services on the way home.
The skyline owners club stand was the best set out stand , it was huge and looked like a car park full of skylines which is where most of them photos are taken, I think u could find every model and colour there ..
We had a walk round the trade stands where you could buy everything from a turbo to a body kit , exhaust to a new badge ... they had stuff there for everyone.
All in all it was a great show, shame the rain didn’t hold off but I guess that’s just the English weather for you and was still a top day ...
The drive home was the same , had a scobby trying to race the skyline, but there was way to much traffic about to play with them on the M1, as if we would anyway
