UrbanStyler meets CruiseHerts, Stevenage, 21st August 2004

UrbanStyler meets CruiseHerts, Stevenage 21st August 2004

This was another cruise meet brought to us by UrbanStyler a dedicated cruise site.

All the local people to Letchworth all met up at Burger King before making our way to Stevenage. Due to the rain (boy was there some rain) the day before the Liner was very wet and for some reason it doesn’t like being wet so I was having all sorts of boost problems topped with a slipping clutch it wasn’t a great ride. Despite my problems we managed to stay with most people and snapped a few shots of some of the guys with us.

We arrived in Stevenage and as always I managed to annouce our arrival with lots of flames and explosions out of the exhaust which quickly attracted a large crowd, so I decided to pump out some tunes from my latest CD which I mixed mid August it soon had peoples feet tapping away.

There was a fair number of people already at the cruise location but once we parked up the people started to roll in and soon the car park was totally packed with all kinds of cars, including three other Skylines.

One of the Liners that turned up decided to give a flame show on it’s arrival, soon it had flames bursting out of the side mounted exhausts, not to be out done I fired up my Liner to show them how big the flames I could get were. It later became a double Skyline flame show when I decided to park next to them and we both gave the crowd what they wanted to see, soon one of the other Liners joined us but didn’t flame just opened up his bonnet to reveal a WELL polished engine, something I definitely need to do.

Most cars started leaving after an hour or so as they were all cruising to Southend for some more cruise action and fair play to them. I was pretty tired and didn't fancy being out till 4,5,6am so I thought I would stay and put on a small doughnut show with some sideways action, of course pleasing the crowds of people that remained.

It was an all round good meet up with plenty of interested car enthusiasts floating about admiring all the shiny well modified cars ... thumbs up to this one, thanks to UrbanStyler and CruiseHerts
