Ultimate Street Car (USC) 2005 @ Santa Pod Raceway
Well it was 5:30am on Friday morning when my alarm clock went off signalling the start of a very hectic but hopefully enjoyable 3 days of Cars, Girls and Beer. Unfortunately after spending the best part of Thursday night cleaning and packing the car it was raining when we arrived at Santa Pod at 6:45am as we parked up in the field awaiting for entry and boy the wait was well worth it. As we pulled up to our spot what did I spy to my right???? That’s correct the clarion stand which was to be the stage of my uncerimonal whipping by the lovely Jamie, Zara and Luce.

As we set up camp I could no longer resist and had to have my first of many beers and was quite tipsey come 10am that when my tent was set up I had to have a lie down and await the rest of the gang. Through out the day people turned up and set up camp and as the day drew on people were just chilling and getting to know all the newbie’s that had turned out for the event and getting ready for the mayhem Saturday morning by having a few beers and breaking out the BBQ.
Saturday
Well Saturday morning soon came and it only seemed like most of us got a couple of hours sleep but that was probably cos we did I was up at 5:45am waiting for the showers and after making myself half presentable made my way back to the happy campers who were just rising and brekkie was top of the list and soon the BBQ was alight with sausages and bacon
During brekkie the clarion girls came over on the scrounge for a bacon and sausage roll and tell me the details of what I was to suffer which kind of excited me LOL Then once most people were up we set about organising the stand as people still turned up and by mid afternoon I thought we had a pretty good stand. As the day dragged on people split into groups and went off exploring seeing what other stands were here and all the cars on display which was mighty impressive much better than last year.
Also during the afternoon the mini-moto’s got unleashed and great fun was had up and down on them until security came over and told us not be riding them tut tut hehehe and then after a brainwave by our little Sarah aka minimadgal to ride it in the shortest of skirts came off of it while trying to pull down her skirt to prevent the world seeing her panties.
During the course of the day in between having a beer and watching the girls as they did some PRing we managed to watch some quite impressive cars running up the strip although the hot weather kind of hampered the times but was still good none the less. Also our spot was on the way to queue up for the strip so got to see and hassle I mean hand out our flyers to the cars going past
As the day drew on we got to know our ‘neighbours’ Kent cruisers who provided us with a few laughs through out the night as well as most of the camp site with the music way in to the wee hours.
Sunday
Well the main day and once again quite a few people were up quite early giving the cars a quick clean down and having a reshuffle for late arrivals making the stand even better. Once everyone was sorted the girls went into maximum PR mode and went off strutting their stuff which sure drew in the crowds as we made our way round the stands and cars getting girlnmotors noticed which is all good.
Lunchtime soon came around and time for me to pay for cheating the day before and I had my ass well and truly spanked with my trousers down around my ankles with the GnM lot cheering me on which resulted in me being unable to sit down for at least an hour LOL
Soon after lunch people decided enough was enough and started to disperse while a few of us hung around to watch a bit of drifting and a final walk round the stalls before making our way home, very tired but very happy bunnies.
